We work closely with all one-design clients, both on the water and in the loft, to develop winning sail performance. VMG's current one-design experience is with Lido 14, Coronado 15, Cal 20, Finn, J24, J80, J120 and Melges 24. VMG will produce your custom one-design class sail within your specific class requirements . . . and we guarantee your complete satisfaction!
Rather than being made from standard rolled sail cloth or a sailcloth laminate, a D4® membrane is custom made for the intended use from fiber through to finished sail. Yarn densities and trajectories are varied throughout the membrane to ensure the optimal amount and direction of yarn for the predicted loads. Different fibers and blends thereof combined with several surface options allow VMG to create a custom product directed specifically to the needs of each customer. |
