Designing and producing a competitive sail at a reasonable price is what VMG is predominantly about. It doesn't matter if you are a club racer or Grand Prix level, we use the same design technologies, computer programs and experience to build your custom sail. We cover the full spectrum of racing sails, from dacron to the latest load path technology. VMG will produce your custom sail to meet your specific sailing requirements and your budget . . . and we guarantee your complete satisfaction!
Rather than being made from standard rolled sail cloth or a sailcloth laminate, a D4® membrane is custom made for the intended use from fiber through to finished sail. Yarn densities and trajectories are varied throughout the membrane to ensure the optimal amount and direction of yarn for the predicted loads. Different fibers and blends thereof combined with several surface options allow VMG to create a custom product directed specifically to the needs of each customer. |
